Resin8 Mould Cast have been specialising in providing a Resin Casting Service for over 30 years. We are based in the UK, with clients Worldwide.

There are many forms and materials used by Resin8 across the whole spectrum of casting which we use to create fabulous art. The knowledge we have gained, over the years has given us the ability to take the materials available and push their boundaries making them work outside of their known limits. All this with a multitude of fantastic effects and finishes available.

Our casting services can reproduce any items or parts, from miniature to monumental in size, using a mixture of traditional and modern methods and materials. Using time served traditional techniques and modern technology, with expertise in all casting mediums such as polyesters, polyurethanes, plasters, Epoxy's, foams, jesmonites, plasters, wet casting, fibre glass, filled casting, and dry casting, also, white metals and foundry casting.

All of our Resin Casting Services are done in house, with the exception of foundry pouring of metals. We can produce one off casts to large production runs in a variety of materials. We also have a vast experience in decorative finishing with colour casting, textured surfaces, antiquing, metallising, marbling, venetian plaster, and Italian glazes.

Our dry Carrara marble casting service was developed and is unique to Resin8. Carrara Marble casting enables us to reproduce white marble. This type of marble casting is authentic to the eye and touch, and can be highly polished. Carrara marble casting is ultraviolet light resistant and is the only white cast material in the world that can offer this. If you are looking for something special and unique, let us help you.

Polyester Resin Casting Service

At Resin8 we use various materials for casting. Polyester resin casting is one of the most common castable materials. Polyester resin is versatile and can be tinted both transparent and opaque using special colour pigments. We use this method of resin casting for producing works of art, special effects, large bulk casting, reproduction of stone, marble and precious stones, resin cast metals, and the reproduction of glass.

Polyurethane Resin Casting Service

We mainly use Polyurethane resin casting for rapid prototyping, engineering components, jigs, fixture components, water clear casting, thick pore clear casting, highly filled systems, and metal powders. This casting service is ideal for making very thin section parts, giving high strength values, structural stability, high wear and scratch resistance, and low shrinkage, across any size castings.

Clear Casting Service

Resin8 also specialise in water clear resin acrylic casting, from small to large scale. Our clear casting service includes thick pore, and the encapsulation of parts within. These materials have a great aesthetic look and quality to them with UV resistance for outdoor use, ideal for gallery commissions and luxury giftware. Resin8 are equipped with pre and post curing equipment, so all materials are cast to the manufacturers instructions and guidelines to get the maximum performance from whatever system is used.

Polyurethane Foams Casting Service

Violin Polyurethane Foam Casting Service by Resin8

At Resin8 we have a vast amount of experience and knowledge in casting Polyurethane foam resin systems. These materials come in varying densities and are mainly used by us for the exact reproduction of wood carvings, and finished by our art department in any wood finish, from limed oak, dark oak, antique pine and many more. These resin systems are also used to centre fill large castings where weight needs to be removed from the final project.
