Longleat's manmade Scagliola columns, used to display their fine marble sculpture collection, have come to the end of their lives, and are beyond restoration.
Sculptured arts task was to scour many quarries and stone merchants all over the world for a matching marble to replace them with, organise importing the marble and create new turned marble replacement columns.
